that's really really great ela and dima has the best accent when he speaks english, i always listen to the esc interviews in english and they're so funny
no he speaks fluent belarussian because he lived there for like 20 years so of course he speaks it. he probably speaks russian day to day though because he lives now in russia.
no i'm sure they speak belarussian, the do. they spoke russian when it was communist russia but now belarus are independant they prefer to speak belarussian i think.
I have very, very, VERY far relatives which came a half year ago from Belarus to Germany and they said that in Belarus they're still using Russian EVERYWHERE!
Although Belarusian is official language, the most of the population speak Russian. There is also a big problem about it because younger generations don't know belarusian.
