Here I'll put some photos of places in Greece I've visited!

The first one is the wreck from Zante and the two others are from an aiolic park (I don't know if that's what is called in English) near where I live. I put some other later.

Yes, it's great! In the wreck, in the first picture, you can go by boat there and have a swim and a closer look! It's magical. We were there in 2005 the sea so blue-green just perfect!

I like greek's culture, specially greek's mitology. Greek's coast is somewhere very similar to Croatia's coast, so I prefer visiting Athens (Acropolis) or Thessaloniki. Some historical place

you know what's another reason for loving Thessaloniki? Blanka Vlasic won high jump competition with that time croatian record - 2,06 m. Later she jumped over 2,07 in Stockholm. And now she is World Champion from Osaka with 2,05 m.

In the second one is the river Acheloos in Aitoloakarnania. I was in the car couldn't get off it and I took this picture on the go. Although you can't see much it's one of my faves. (btw does anyone know how to rase the bridge with photoshopo or sth?)
The third one is from Astakos. I just love the mountains in the back of the photo it's like they're painted. Like a painting of Bob Ross!

No, we live in Patras, on Pelloponhsos (where the BIG fires were)...

Astakos (the third picture) is right opposite of Leukada (an island)

Yeah, that was a terrible tragedy. Some 7 days ago, we had also a big tragedy in Croatia. 11 firemen died. Some of them were burned out and some died in hospital. Horrible. Greece was every day on tv news in croatia because of fires, I couldn't believe it.

Yeah, some stupid guys put them on, firefighters found...emmm... well, "machines-sort-of" that put on fires on purpose, like cans with gas. For the money, or politics (in a week there's the elections on, to decide who the president of our country will be). 64 people died on August, and more before, on June... Villages were totally burned... There was a TV "marathon" to raise money for people who were left home-less, a couple of days ago... they raised about 11 millions, not to mention 20 millions that a rich guy (don't remember his name :D) said that he would give by himself the next day, he had organised a tour to visit these places...

Yeah, horrible. We were shocked! Whole country mourns their lives, and prays for the rest 2 firefighters that are still fighting for life! But it seems that they would die, too. Two of them were younger than 18 and they shouldn't be there. Terrible tragedy. Sportsmen and sportswomen wore black band for them. Blanka Vlasic won gold medal in high jump with it and gave some money for families of dead firemen. Very generous from her!

Yes... the match between the teams AEK (a greek team) and Sevilla was cancelled becaude of this...and because of the death of a Sevilla's player... And they were wearing black bands...

Very sad! Two persons of my age died. I was so shocked when I realized that they shouldn't be there but nobody reacted!!! OMG, what's going on with this world? When I saw a video from Greece where people were rescued from basketball field surrounded with fire, I was... I don't know.Everything can be repaired, but nothing can replace a human life. Nothing!
