The jury decided to send Ruslan Alehno to Belgrade with his song Hasta la vista.
Ruslan Alehno competed against another three acts who have qualified from the semi final, where he won the televote. In 2007, Belarus qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time with Koldun and Work your magic to finish 6th.

i saw the show on tv and it was fantastic. they had some winners from the years before peform. unfortunately dima didn't sing as a guest but in the beginning they had a band playing work your magic. it was like a band with trumpets and other instruments and they had an army i think doing a dance to work your magic with guns. when i saw it i couldn't speak. it was amazing!!!

he was the best from all the other singers. i think that this year they did not have one good song in the belarussian final, they were all bad.
