500 grammes meat
How to cook:
At first you have to cut the onions (), then you rub the carrots to little sticks. Then you cut the meat into squares, after that you have to fry the meat and the onions in a pan with a bit oil. You wait till the onions are glazed, and then you add the carrots into the pan. You have to wait till the carrots get soft, during waiting you put two cups of water into a pot and let it boil. When the carrots are soft you put the cup of rice and the stuff from the pan into the pot and let it cook. You put the lid of the pot onto the pot and let it boil. The Plof is ready when there is no water in the pot left!
Good appetite!
PS: Rice is always cooked like that: 1 cup of rice : 2 cups of water
No problem! I like cooking too xD I know a lot of russian recipes, okay, to be honest, I can cook just russian food, I don't know any german recipes xD
As I said I have LOADS of russian recipes!! A living cooking book sits just next to me ;D
But I have to think of it before I write, they are kind of complicated
So here is another recipe:
Borscht'
Ingredients:
500g Potatoes
1/4 Cabbage
2 Beetroots
500g Meat
2 Onions
4 spoons with oil
2 spoons with tomato paste
2 or 3 litres water
How to cook:
At first you cut the meat and the potatoes into squares. Then you cut the cabbage, the beetroot and the onions (the beetroot and the cabbage have to be like stripes). You take a pot (with the water inside) and put there the meat. When the water with the meat starts to boil, there will be such a white stuff, that white thing you have to take away with a spoon. Then you add the potatoes and the cabbage. While in the pot is everything cooking you are frying the onions together with the beetroot in a pan, when the beetroot got soft you add the tomato paste. You mix it up, and then you put it into the soup. You let it cook till the water is red and the potatoes+meat are cooked.
Vegetarians can leave the meat away, that is very delicious too :) But with meat it is the very traditional russian Borscht'
Good appetite!
Tip: When you eat it, it's the best to add a bit sour cream to it
Of the eggs, the milk, a bit salt (a little little LITLLE bit!!) and the flour you make a softy dough. You divide the dough into little pieces and roll them out into long lines which are 1cm thick. You cut the lines into small pieces and form them to balls which have the same size like a normal walnut. You fry them in little portions until they get a gold-yellow colour. The oil has to drop away from them after frying. You mix up the honey with the sugar and boil it then. Important step: You take the honey-sugar mass onto a spoon, and let it run onto a plate, when the honey-sugar mass is cold you have to check the consistance. When it is like gelee you stop the boiling! When it gets hard you have to stop the boiling immediately!!! You make a little mountain of the balls and put the honey-sugar mass onto the top, it has to run down the "mountain" automatically. After the whole thing got cool you can eat it
