 Yes You have right the hosts opened the show and a little bit later she was singing and later when was the voting she sang Mambo!!!

My country,Belgium,will participate at the ESC 2009:)
It's really sure.
That will be with a song who will be
from the french-speaking part of the country:D

The ESC this year is definitely going to be in moscow in the Olympiski Arena, and because it's so big the rehearsal and press areas will be in the same building which is really good!

Also the big 4: UK, Germany, Spain and France are all going to be put straight into the final this year again.


And also there might be jury members, all will be revealed after the meeting in december..........

They should not put the Big 4 anymore automatically in Final.
They always finished in the latest places,
and they always deprive 4 other countries,
who have sometimes nicer songs,to go in Final.

Andorra has received 107 applications to participate under their flag at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. In total, 64 songs were submitted with no singer directly attached, 15 performers sent applications to perform without a song ready and 28 applications by singers to perform their own song were received. The deadline for Submissions passed yesterday.



Entries were received from across Europe, with almost half of them from within the borders of Andorra. 27 were submitted from Spain, the home of last year's Andorran representative, Gisela. A further eight songs were received from both France and Lithuania, six from Sweden, Four from Greece and Malta. Entries were also received from Belgium, Iceland, Ireland, Israel and the United Kingdom.

Now the selection process will begin and a jury will choose the singers and three songs in total. Later, in January, the selected entries will fight to win the Andorran ticket to Moscow 2009 through four special programmes. The winner will be chosen via SMS by the Andorran public.

Andorra has never been able to reach the final in none of its five participations. The Principality was close to reach this aim in Helsinki 2007, when Anonymous came 12th in the semifinal. This year, Gisela only managed to place 15th.

Normally all the national finals start in about january and it's really fun that every week we can hear a new song and see a new contestant.

The semi-final is on the 15th december (my birthday) and the final will be in middle of january.
