On 16th of March was a draw for positions on Semi-finals, Final and country voting.
"Under huge media attention, featuring over 150 journalists and more than 20 camera crews from Russia and abroad, Dima Bilan then drew the first three jokers. The Heads of Delegation from these countries will get the opportunity to pick their own starting position."

Dima Bilan then drew one joker. The Head of Delegation from this country will get the opportunity to pick their own starting position. The other four countries that automatically qualify for the Final were drawn to their respective positions.
