Cottage cheese!




No, seriously, that is how I say happy birthday.

It comes from one day at the middle school lunch table...
Dennis: It's my birthday!
Jessica: Eww, cottage cheese.
Dennis: Now you have to sing it! (meaning the happy birthday song)
Jessica: ...... *sings* Ohhhh cottage cheese cottage cheese cottage cheeeeese!
And from that moment on, cottage cheese has meant happy birthday.

Oh, and French can also be "joyeux anniversaire".
