Today "ZD" has invited Dmitry Koldun to talk about his life and musical career.

- Dima, this winter our readers have decided that following the results of last year youre the most sexual singer on our pop scene. In the summer public accepted you with especial enthusiasm on "Euroball ZD" in Luzniki where we celebrated a victory of Russia on "Eurovision". Now, when fanfares have already ceased, what you can tell about an event?

- I am glad to results of "Eurovision". The common dream of our victory has come true, and it should rejoice. Im asked often am I glad to the victory of Dima Bilan exactly? Basically yes, but I will palter, if I will tell that there was no envy or jealousy. Not spiteful envy, of course. It was professional, artistic envy because n his place there could be I. My memoirs from participation in "Evrovision-2007" in Helsinki are still very fresh, and as it seems to me, I performed there well.

- You represented Belarus and brought to this country the good result for all years. Its a victory too. But Ruslan Alehno this year has blundered he has not overcome even a semi-final. It was fair, at your sight?

- I am not such expert in this area to confirm if he should pass to the final or should not.

- Before "Star-Factory" you participated with Ruslan in one telecompetition "National artist-2" and then he has beaten you

- By the way from "the National artist" I was expelled not without your help as judge.

- So now you can see that I was wise! If you have not lost then on "National artist" there would be no your brilliant victory at "Star-Factory", successful performance on "Eurovision" and other successes.

- Yes, it is a dialectics

- Now "Eurovision" goes to Moscow. Do you do want to participate in it once again?

- I have plans to participate in "Eurovision" in the second time, but not now. I like "Eurovision", I have caught its atmosphere, but next year I will not act. And not because competition will take place in Moscow. I do not want my participation in this competition to look like race for the former leader. There were already headings in some newspapers like "Koldun have thrown down a challenge for Bilan". I will not feel comfortably in such situation. Its all still ahead for me.

- You work now with composer Alexander Lunev. You already had two hits "I for you" and "Tsarevna". Whether there will be other hits?

- We prepare an album. Everybody assign to it big hopes. I wanted the album released to my birthday, on June, 11th, but it has not turned out. It must be perfect, so we work There is some regularity in my life in the summer I usually bring up some results of work, I reinterpret the made. Last summer I have rethought and have summed up to our short cooperation with Phillip Kirkorov, the top of which was my participation in "Eurovision". This year I reinterpret something too.

- Its some misty, but threatening hint

- I do not know, it is good or it is bad, but I have actually very big ambitions. I am ready to devote all time to music, creativity, work. And the main thing that is very important for me to be organic with what I do. For example, my cooperation with Kirkorov ended very quickly because I had a lot of self-contradictions.

You mean a pop mainstream and your propensity to heavier music, to rock?

- Yes, absolutely correctly. For me there is no concept of success at any cost. There are things in music which I accept and love, but there is also that is categorically uninteresting and it is unacceptable for me. I compose in this musical direction rock. While I am engaged in it only for myself, but I hope that day when it becomes mainstream in my career will come.

- What irony of fate! Ruslan Alehno, the absolute pop singer, had a rock image on "Eurovision" that looked ridiculously, and you had image of pop Ken.

- I was more successful. "Work Your Magic" in the final version has been approached to that I really would like to sing. Though we overdid a bit with powder and other make-up.

- So when will we hear the music which you compose?

- I hope, soon. At first all should be made well. Now I am engaged in it. But I would like also that people have heard my debut album with composer Lunev. It is worthy work for which many time has been spent, and I hope it hasnt been spent for nothing.

- We look forward and reserve places in our charts!
