PART 1:

Dmitry Koldun: I Shall return on "Eurovision", if someone from Belarus  will repeat my success!!

Before the Belarus presentation of the new album (on September, 26th, "Reactor", 22.00) singer Dmitry Koldun has answered and has told questions of visitors of portal TUT.BY that work above a new album will begin in November-December of this year, and together with it will pass round in support of the first album "KOLDUN The singer has admitted, that to it not absolutely comfortably to be the public person, and is better it feels at home in the bed behind which it is ready to go on edge of light.

- Tell, please, about the new album.

 

-From my album we wrote down songs at ourselves at studio within nine months. It is practically mature by me. This album is a first step aside music to which to me would like to be engaged further. The album is written down in style of positive rock, and in general is a pop-rock.

 

- Why on a disk there is no composition "Tsarevna"? Very much it would be desirable, that in a following plate there were songs " Forgive for all " and " I for you ".

 

The matter is that on a song "Tsarevna" I simply do not have rights. After I have left producer Alexander Lunev, I have lost the right to the edition of this song. If we shall agree with Alexander this song necessarily will enter into a following album.

- You and further plan to let out albums by own strength or will address to those people with whom you already have creative operating time?

I think, that release of a following album will be carried out by joint forces. We plan to begin record of the second album in November-December of current year. The material for two new albums is already practically ready. It is necessary to choose songs which I wish to see in a following album. I shall continue to work with Alexander Astashenkom, Bagratom, Konstantin Arsenyev, Irina Sekachevoj and with many other things.

- Such small interval between an output of one album and the second. When you will have time to have tour?

- Now we actively work above this question. In current I shall have time to give year some concerts in cities of Belarus.

- Whether you will go with a concert to Gomel?

 

-Necessarily I shall arrive to Gomel because very much I love this city

 

- When you will arrive to please with the talent of the Ukrainian admirers?

-you understand, that the actor does not go any way on any cities. I cannot tell about things yet which are not in my nearest plans. If you wish me to see in Ukraine can invite me with a concert. For the organization of concerts the whole command of people, instead of I personally answers.

- You invite to Germany and to Israel. You plan to move ahead to the Western Europe?

 

-My collective and I personally we do not plan to do an emphasis to the Western Europe. If we also shall appear on tours in the European city it happens in the easy image.

 

- Whether you plan to let out English-speaking albums?

I think, that at albums there will be English-speaking tracks in the form of an ornament album. In fact release of an album in English is a purposeful step aside the West. In Belarus there live the formed people, but is far not everyone understand sense of English-speaking songs. I wish to sing songs which will be clear to my compatriots.

-With whom from musicians you would like to sing a duet of a song from the new album? -

 

" Train to south " from a new album I have written a composition very much for a long time. First time it has sounded on one of the Minsk radio stations during my study at university. Awful arrangement for hundred dollars has been written down. The song even has been some times let out in an ether on any radio. During that moment I was for some reason confident, that I can send this song on a site of group Bon Jovi, and they necessarily will execute it.
Now I understand, that it was the crazy idea and I do not think of it.

-When clips on songs from a new album will be removed? (My question for Dima)

-We while about it did not think, because now a lot of other work.

 

- Tell more in detail about presentation of a new album in Belarus.

 

-We plan to make an alive concert in which my friends who helped me in far 2007 will participate to be selected on "Eurovision". Many think, that Phillip Kirkorov was engaged in it only, but in fact to me helped also other people! Presentation of a new album would be to make enough only in Moscow, but very much it wanted to me to arrive to Belarus.

- How to persuade the husband to descend on your concert which will pass on September, 26th?

 

-In my opinion, the person does not need to be persuaded, if it does not wish to go on my concert. I too have singers on which concert I never would go. I could tell how to persuade the husband, but not on air

 

- You do not consider yourselves as a star?

 

-I do not consider myself as a star! I 'm simply singer.

 

- Whether the head from glory is turned at you?

 

- At me the head from a tobacco smoke and from alcohol is turned. Popularity is such thing which it is necessary to have been ill., that I earlier seemed to me great, but in a reality there was all not so.

- To you it is comfortable in a role of the public person?

 

-Fairly to tell, not so. I sometimes would like to go to a zoo and to feed a bear. And these campaigns turn to the autograph-session. Everyone understand, that each work has features. Doctors do not ask, whether it is pleasant to them to wash hands every day. For example, I do not like to do it - therefore I did not become the doctor.

- To you has not bothered in Russia? Perhaps, you already regret, what have left there?

 

-Is not present, in Russia to me yet has not bothered to live. When the point I come to Belarus rolls on me.

- What role in your career " the Factory of stars " has played?

-In the world many different people and all of them in own way concern to this project. For example, Nikita Malinin has won the fourth factory and even has made to itself in this occasion a tattoo on a shoulder. For me " the Factory of stars " is a stage in a life which has given me the certain life experience.

- With who from Fabrica you communicate today?

 

-Some former participens have left somewhere, others became hosts on TV, and the third continue to sing. I not bad communicate with Arseny Borodinym who now sings in group " Chelsi ", with Julia Lysenko and with Leshej

- What it was pleasant to you and what has revolted you in the Russian show business?

 

- It was pleasant to me, that show business really in Russia is. I have been unpleasantly surprised, that on any actions people simply come "to be lit and get to an objective of the chamber. In the Russian show business everyone cares of itself(himself).

- What do you think of the Belarus stars?

 

They behave as if would possess supertalent. World stars behave more modestly. Perhaps, in it our mentality is guilty? - world people sometimes really behave more modestly, than some Belarus executors. Even Scorpions behave more modestly. Probably, because they were in time from general attention. In Belarus there are many adequate people to whom it is pleasant to communicate.

 

- At " Factory of stars " and later at you the remarkable tandem with Phillip Kirkorov has turned out. Really now you dispatch absolutely in sights?

 

-With Phillip we at all do not dispatch in sights. Simply at each person the life. Probably, we once again shall go with Phillip on "Eurovision" but while I would not like it to do. I shall wait, while somebody from Belarus will not rise above my fifth place. Many think, that I have taken the sixth place at this competition, but Bulgaria disqualified, and my result has risen on a step above. Probably, our tandem with Phillip will sometime repeat, but now about it to speak early.

- At date of a birth to you have presented Indian sitar. You have already learned to play on this musical instrument or going to use sitar at record of albums?


- I already know, in what tracks I shall use this musical instrument. I since the childhood like a pumpkin, and the basic part of this tool is made of a dry pumpkin. I like  to sit down in my house and paly. Once even to me the neigbour has come and complained of my game in three one o'clock in the morning, probably, to it sitar has not liked

- On what other unique musical instruments you would like to learn to play?

- I would like to learn to play even on not unique musical instruments. I would like to learn to play on duduk, but I understand, that it is very complex.

- Why all of you time smile?

- Perhaps, at you the picture on the screen zavisla and seems to you, that I smile. Actually, I very seldom smile, because a life different.

- Whether all at you by way of with a voice or you simply have not slept and were unwell?

- I have understood, that I need to watch over more carefully the health because there are problems with a voice.

- The healthy way of life is about you?

- I always do exercises in the mornings and to evenings.

- Whether you regret, what have thrown study for a department of chemistry?

- I have finished chemical faculty, and I even have a diploma. Moreover, I wrote degree work on a theme " Valid techniques of synthesis of a preparation pimpophicin, in a capsule of 150 mg "

- You collect to be engaged in scientific activity further?

- I on a regular basis am engaged in her, but hardly sometime somebody will see it. For example, influence of a sulfuric acid on the old machine of mark "Muscovite" is interesting to me. At school I liked to burn down saltpeter in a toilet but as I studied well anybody on me could not think anything.


- Very few people knows, that once in Minsk you sang in hevi-metal group. Together you have written down some good compositions. Whether you with group support communication and whether there is at you a desire to make heavier hevi-metal the project?

- I still had only one record of this group which referred to "Membrane". We even acted in Svetlogorsk. Our performance looked as a certain orgy. Nevertheless I consider participation in this group as one of the most joyful moments in my student's life.


- How you concern to what at schools of Belarus from programs of seniors and middle classes Music and singing " have cleaned a subject "? Whether art workers Are obliged, singers and composers to pay attention to such things?

- I consider, that singing and music is, more likely, facultic. Many in the life finished musical schools, played on any musical instruments. But they have passed this stage and to it do not come back any more. It seems to me, to music the person should come itself, and force to be engaged violently her is not present sense

My last lesson of singing was in the sixth class. By the way, on singing I had a three. And when in the second class I went to musical school and was engaged on a class of a piano, it seemed to me, that my teacher wished me to eat, therefore I was hidden under a school desk at its occurrence. And eventually, I have asked mum to take away me from musical school.


- Whether you come for days of a meeting of graduates? Who from teachers at you was the most favourite?

- Most of all I loved our class teacher Zemfiru Grigorevnu which constantly gave us instructive recommendations and manuals. In general at us the class was very cheerful, I till now meet some schoolmates in informal conditions. At school I had a group which referred to " the Heavy wheel plough " and from which we have won tea service at any competition at pedagogical university.

- Your friends are interested: " You promised to reduce us on beer. When we shall go? "

- We shall soon go to drink beer on a bench, time promised

It seems to me, I for ever shall remain same razdolabem what was at school. Last time, already being students, we simply have come into school, , to look, where we smoked... Have risen on the third floor, and there - a fire hose. We have unwound it up to a ground floor, have adhered to any handle and have knocked at a door. I think, it is still pardonable in 24 years. But if such will proceed and in 40 years, it will be already absolutely other history.


- Whether you remember that time when your brother worked at school? What was to you then?

- I wish to tell, that to us at all very well was, not from a good life of all this we got up. In our life there was no satisfaction, therefore we splashed out the energy thus - in fun. Parents worked at school as teachers, sometimes houses were broken on us. And the brother always tore up under itself the ground to reach. I have started to work only after to me have given chance, and it many forces are primary spent for work. It taught geography at school, at this time still somehow managed to study in postgraduate study. For me that time when it worked at school, was vague.


- How it is possible to contact your brother on the Internet?

- it has an official site www.georgekoldun.com. There there is a bookmark "Contacts" where it is specified how it is possible to communicate with it.


- Tell, please, about the girl. There is in your repertoir a song, devoted to it?

- The girl as the girl, two hands, two legs. I think, that a song, devoted to it, I yet have not written. It in the future.


- A question from teenage magazine " Magic ": whether " you Trust in magic? "

- I trust that secret becomes obvious. In magic as those I do not trust, and in the paranormal phenomena which occur in our life, I trust. For example, recently at me the door by itself was closed from within on a bolt. It was necessary to drill it.


- Do not regret what some steel such what became? Do not wish to return years on ten back and something to change in the life?

Ten years ago to me there were 14 years, I studied in the ninth class. To come back at that time I do not want. Even if also it has turned out change something I could not. Especial at that time I from myself did not represent anything.

- What you see yourself in ten years?

- It seems to me, I shall be more approached to the dream, I shall become a little greater. And can be, and is not present. I do not like to plan. There is a good
saying: " you Wish to make laugh the God, tell to it about the plans ". I consider, that it is valid so.
Probably, years through ten I shall write the book - I have already begun work above the fantasy-story " Returning Brega ". It will be the story about the one-legged old man who travels on the world full of various monsters and characters of not clear kind, gods, shadows. It goes to itself(himself) home and does not know, that city in which it comes back, already is not present.

- What your most favourite place on a planet?

- My bed - a favourite place on a planet. I very much like to sleep and I shall go on edge of light behind the bed.

- Dima, I somehow saw you in glasses with dioptries. It is a part of image or at you really bad sight?

- At me a problem with sight from school, I wear glasses. From the first school desk I more or less saw, but have specially bought glasses to sit on last school desk and there to turn the business.


- Who your favourite singer?

- If to speak about vocalists I very much like Grigory Leps and Kori Taylor, the vocalist of group Slipknot.


- What five words you can characterize yourself?

- One boy in my childhood named me " leading sign ". If I shall describe myself several words it will be "poplar", "bottle", "hedgehog", "moon" and "pes"(this is macedonian means dog so I don't know if in russian is the same)

- Whether you participate in social networks?

No, I was not present in social networks. Few times I had a desire to get to itself a page on any site, but somehow has not developed. I simply do not know, about what there to talk. I can share the ideas on any blog, and in networks it is constantly necessary to correspond with someone, and it takes away a lot of time. To me to meet someone easier and to sit in , than to correspond on the Internet.


- In what cafe clubs, restaurants, clubs and other public places of Minsk it is possible to meet Dmitry Koldun?

- I very much like to happen at home. And the choice of club depends on mood. I do not have any concrete places where I like to happen. I very much love a land, therefore often I happen in a land-bars(suchi restarurants). But not in any certain, and that I meet on a way.

- How you concern to children? Whether you Dream of the or even about nephews?

- Dream of children, in my opinion, any perverted. And in general I concern to children with greater understanding, sometimes they come on my concerts. The children at me while are not present, but that'll come.


- The huge quantity of questions is set by listeners about your plans for the near future.

- In general, in my plans there is a reception of premium Grammy. I think, it will occur how I shall become great is an achievement at me is planned approximately years through ten. And as to show and concerts I am going to return to Moscow and to plan tour round across Belarus.

I have met Koldun in Belarus when he was selected for  "Eurovision 2007". Still then it has seemed to me the open, kind and interesting person. Then we were some times crossed at various concerts in Moscow and I have not changed my opinion for him.  Koldun is really present artist! How it manages to do the creativity by the present art . Many people can be jealous on Koldun.

a school life




At meetings with schoolmates we can eternally
recollect joint leprosies. At school me named an ostrich for long legs,
leanness and high growth. Once we with schoolmates have gone to
theatre. I have put the backpack on edge of a balcony on which we have
settled down. While we raged and kicked each other, someone has pushed
my backpack and that has departed to an orchestra and has landed just
near to the deputy minister of culture of Belarus in general, us have
turned out on street.

George Koldun

I am very grateful to the brother that it has
resulted me in music. Probably, our sights at some things at times
miss, but we with it very good friends and I hope, so will be always.
Once I have visited solo concert George is there was one of the best
actions which I visited in Belarus for the last some years. In the
childhood I very much loved, when George rolled me on a luggage carrier
of the bicycle. Once I have flied therefrom in a dirt, was wounded and
have solved, that I shall necessarily revenge the brother.
Since then every morning George received a pillow
on a head I specially woke up earlier and here thus awoke it. It
proceeded, while I have not gone to school.




Orientation

To prove who I and who is pleasant to me, I considered as
silly employment, but for curious once again I can repeat: my
unequivocal choice girls. I at all do not divide people on their
orientation, for me the private world and human qualities is important.

Yeah you are totaly in right because he is writing a book at the moment in a style of fantasy that plans to publsih it one day!!!!He also said this in one of his previous interviewsAlso here he said that  he wants to try with acting in movies and also like in this interview and  in one of his previous interviews he said that he wants to play the role of negative hero!!!!He did amazing job acting in the rock-opera so I can't wait to see him acting in a movie because he really have the talent for acting!!!!I mean he is talented about everything:about singing to not talk(he can sing even a opera because we heard that),he can dance(we saw that on Eurovison),he can be amazing and intersting host( we saw that on Eurofest and Miss Intercontinental),he can act(we saw that in the rock- opera"Hoakin Mureti),he is awsome composer(the songs that he writes are THE BEST),he also is writer because he is writing a book and also wrote a fantacy story that is on his official forum named"Brego from cape Norog" and also like child he wrote a short story called"Polkan the dog-Peter's freind" with 166 words which beging on the letter "P",he also can be model because he is damn beautiful guy!!!!I mean he is multitalented and THE BEST!!!!Tomorrow I will translate also other new intersitng interview!!!!!

KM.Ru: Now to an album. Not a secret, that many
a plate, named named the author, are eclectic. How much it is fair for
your case?


- It is not necessary to forget, that it is my
first album, and here all was for me in a novelty beginning from
record of tools and finishing arrangement of microphones and drum-type
installation. The same concerns also a set of tracks. These songs have
been written at various times and when I shall write down the second
plate I shall understand is better, what format and what melody to me
to reach and what songs of figure should be combined in this album.
And during preparation of a debut album I had
simply huge desire to make something. Probably, in this hysterics the
album which has now left also was born (is dared). Therefore at it are
present a bonus-tracks with perfect other synthetic sounding which is
distinct from the general sounding of a plate. I can tell, that though
it is the first independent product and we have spent very many forces
for it.For me this album one of step in my
"training". Therefore, reading to the review with elements of
criticism, I understand, that it is natural. For me the most important
that in occasion of my work speak that it causes interest. We wrote an
album fairly within the precincts of here this studio where we we talk.
Were closed everything, vanished here in the days and at the
nights, searched for sounding, experimented, changed, found, and that
has left, has left.



KM.Ru: How you have got acquainted with guitarist Dmitry Chetvergovym and how with it there passed work above an album?


- Dmitry one of those people who has not
remained indifferent when I the project. I have come to it with
the request to create any musical arrangement. And, it is necessary to
tell, what exactly it has resulted me in a rock opera « the Star and
death Hoakin Mureti ». Dmitry from those who not simply thinks
where to cut down "cabbage", and really lives music.
If to listen to its tool album I cannot tell
that is a commercial product. Something such, that it is possible to
listen to it some times and all the same up to the end to not
understand, that there such it is written down it (is dared). And the
most important that it simply very good person, first of all. In fact
there are many talented people with whom it is simply impossible to
communicate.


KM.Ru: Who has acquainted you?


- Poet Konstantin Arsenev when I have come to it with the request has
acquainted us to write a song. When music and verses were already
ready, there was a question who will be it arange as for that
moment I did not have neither collective, not a studio. Arsenev has
reduced me with Chetvergovym, in hope, that that will help. And, really,
and happens.



KM.Ru: Why from all songs Ribnikov created for a rock opera « the Star and death Hoakin Mureti », have been chosen "Zvezda" ("Star")?



- It is not present in a rock opera. Same a song written on the basic
theme of performance (a stage of wedding by the ship). Frankly variety
songs Ribnikov wrote not too often. It just one of few such independent
products. It it has presented me, and I have solved, why and was not
present. From the musical point of view this song very much is pleasant
to me. Can, someone will not divide my opinion, but any song has a
listener. The rock opera, unfortunately, now has not the best times.But, I hope, that the song will long live.




KM.Ru: You admitted, that you were affected
with creativity of group " Aria ". Whether you watch creativity of this
collective now?


Last album of "Aria" which has bought and has listened, there was
"Chimera". Then they had an album « the Christening Fire » which I too
have estimated. All the same it seems to me, that the classical
structure was most successful. Not casually, "Aria" constantly compared
with Iron Maiden. I two times went on concerts of "Aria", but, the
truth, not in a dancing (is dared). More peacefully on a
tribune.
To tell the truth, this group imposes me not
only by way of music, I simply like Valery Kipelov as the person. It is
visible from its interview. In spite of the fact that I always admired
with its voice and a manner of singing, it modestly declares
journalists in reply to praises: « Yes all right, I and is better heard
». Even now, when I find in the Internet any interview, I
with pleasure read them and I find for myself something new.
Though its music at the given stage is a little bit alien to me.
Probably, I have a little bit matured by way of that earlier I liked
fairy tales of type of songs of "Aria" and « King and the Clown », and
now I knew something of more vital. Though, probably when people get
tired of this vitality, they just and find again satisfaction in such
here fairy tales.


KM.Ru: And still what Russian rock groups are close to you?

- Earlier I
very much liked group « Black Coffee ». By the way, at their concert I
and have not visited, but a little album at my place is stored.


KM.Ru: How much you feel yourselves now entered in the Belarus musical process? You there come as the visitor?


Is my native land, but I nevertheless more time
have lead some years to the last in Moscow. A difference between rates
of a life here and there very much . I consider, that, perhaps,
in Belarus the musical industry develops much more slowly, than in
Russia, where, in turn, even more slowly, than in the West. But it
would be desirable to show all the same, as we, Byelorussians, are
capable of something.


KM.Ru: Perhaps, in Belarus and more slowly, but it is necessary to give
all due, that those groups which appear recently there, look more
abruptly and more convincingly sound, than many Russian.


- Well, in general, yes. Recently in Belarus there were some young
commands. There is, for example, nice young group The Toobes such
greetings from 80. I do not know, how much it is a perspective command,
but, anyway, they have very much surprise
